Our Mission

The Voices of Historical Justice is a group of historians, genealogists, educators, living historians, and experts in the field of history who are dedicated to the preservation of all aspects of history.
The Purpose of the Voices of Historical Justice is to support each other, museums, sites, and institutions, and make known to the public, all aspects of history (whether it be the “good stuff” of history, the “tough stuff” of history, or the uncomfortable subjects), in an inclusive manner.
It is the mission of the Voices of Historical Justice to support each other and other members in the field of history by sharing each others work, events, endeavors, websites, blogs, etc. on a group Facebook page, so that we may in turn share that information to our personal Facebook pages to reach a wider audience.
Another mission of our group is to support national, state, and local history institutions, historic sites, and museums who are telling full and inclusive narratives including, but not limited to, underrepresented groups, by highlighting and helping to spread awareness of these institutions, sites, and museums and their efforts.
A final mission of our group is to invite members of the public to participate on our Facebook group and on our website, so that we may engage with them by providing topics and items of interest in our varying fields of history.
