The Voices For Historical Justice formed in August 2025 in response to threats of removal of the history of underrepresented groups at some of our nation’s historic sites, museums, and institutions. With members spread throughout the United States, as part of our mission, we work to share the efforts of individuals in the history field to a wider audience. We highlight many of the different sites throughout the country who are telling a full, accurate, and inclusive history. Whenever we discover any injustices being done at any historic sites, we activate to call attention to these injustices and spread the word amongst us and others. We live in a time when historic sites and narratives of underrepresented groups are again in the crosshairs of being erased by those who do not want to see inclusivity in programming at these places of historic importance.
